by case basis)
who have made a significant leadership contribution or pioneered
innovative programs that
support women’s career advancement.

2004 - Laurel Baer, founder of Bottomless Closet, Chicago, proudly received The Women's Alliance first-ever VISION AWARD in honor of her outstanding creativity and vision that pioneered the way for the development of programs providing professional attire for women in transition across the country. 2006 - Linda Peterson,
Peterson's Harley-Davidson of Miami (South) was presented with a VISION
Award by Nicole Wild Executive Director of The Women's Alliance for her
outstanding commitment of women in need. In April, Linda single-handedly
hosted a grand gala to open their new 40,000 squ ft store in Cutler Bay to
benefit The Women's Alliance and Chapter 2. Over 450 guests representing the
philanthropic and business community attended the event to honor the opening
of the new store and the Peterson family tradition of philanthropy. "My vision is to be an example of the power of service that lies within us all.
