Chapter 2, The Women’s Alliance’s Resale Store Marks First Year Anniversary with a Week of Sales and Celebrations February 3, 2007 - Chapter 2, a non-profit, high-quality urban resale store featuring women’s and men’s quality fashions will celebrate its first year anniversary with a week of sales and celebrations Wednesday, January 31 thru Saturday, February 3, 2007. Chapter 2 allows shoppers to get great bargains while supporting a good cause. All sale proceeds help The Women’s Alliance, a national non-profit organization that provides professional attire and career skills training for low-income women seeking employment. Savvy shoppers will participate in philanthropic sales events featuring 75% off savings store wide with limited exclusions and Chapter 2’s first-ever designer sample sale featuring over 250 items of great clothing for only $5.00. Complimentary wine and cheese will be served. Chapter 2 is located at the historic Dorsey House, 250 NW 9th Street in Overtown. Store hours are 10 to 4pm or via appointment.
