2007 National Conference a Great Success
by Susan Van Veen

The 2007 National Conference was held on November 9th and 10th at the Boston Cambridge Marriott hotel. The conference highlights include outstanding keynote speakers, Sandra Busby, Ann Fry and Paula Sneed. They covered the waterfront from creating corporate and community partnerships, managing and minimizing stress and marketing strategies for success. Each speaker provided wonderful tools along with much wisdom.

Susan WaltonFriday night MAXMARA hosted a reception which displayed the You're One in a Million.org Harley-Davidson Tigertail bike. It is BEAUTIFUL. The bike's tangerine skin just sparkles. A few lucky attendees got to sit on the bike and get their pictures taken for posterity. Linda Peterson and Thomas Cook, two of the geniuses behind the You're One in a Million.org campaign, attended the reception to talk about the bike and the goals for the You're One in a Million.org campaign. Linda and Thomas joined the group on Saturday for an impromptu presentation. The energy in the room was incredible.

Next year's conference site was announced. The conference will be held in Miami, Florida in the early part of November. Mark your calendars for this great opportunity to network, learn best practices, and visit TWA's Chapter 2 store. Nicole and her crew have some great things planned.
